Allu Arjun's Julayi First Look

Allu Arjun no. 1 on Facebook

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is the star with highest number of followers in Andhra Pradesh.  His Facebook page, created by a fan, has more than 1,50,000 followers.  With this figure, he is the biggest Telugu star on Facebook.
His stardom on the social networking site is next only to that of Suriya, the Tamil star.  Some pundits aver that his popularity on the site,  in which his followers comprise of sections of Malayalees and Kannadigas, can be attributed to his popularity as a star in Kerala and Karnataka.
The humble star is pleasantly surprised at this.  "I am very happy at knowing that I have the highest number of followers on Facebook.  My heartfelt thanks to my fans, and the media brethren, especially the web media," he said in a statement.

Allu Arjun's film with Surendar Reddy from April

Kick and Oosaravelli director Surendar Reddy has prepared a story for Allu Arjun.  The news is that this stylish entertainer will be produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) of Lakshmi Narasimha Productions.  It will go on the floors from April.
This is the first movie that Surendar is making with Arjun.  The director's last film was not a satisfactory hit at the BO, and reminded many of his Atithi-style story-telling.
Arjun awaits the release of Honey, a Trivikram Srinivas directorial.  It is to be seen if the hero and the director bail out each other with this film.

Allu Arjun to act in Selva Raghavan's bi-lingual

If Daggubati Rana and Allu Sirish are eyeing Kollywood, can Allu Arjun be far behind?  If everything goes fine, a Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual starring Allu Arjun, directed by Selva Raghavan, will go on the floors early next year.  The buzz is that Shruthi Hassan has been approached with the role of female lead, but it is early days to talk about it.
Sirish, Arjun's brother, is debuting as hero in Tamil this year.   Remaking Mr. Perfect, the younger brother will show the way to Arjun.  Meanwhile, Arjun is keen on signing as many good projects as he can, which is why he is listening to so many scripts these days.  He has pinned his hopes on Honey, which is loaded with comedy, romance and action.
Selva was interested in making a bi-lingual with Rana soon after the release of Leader.  The director, who seemed to know the pulse of the audience when 7/G Brindavan Colony was released, hasn't had a hit in Telugu.  He is currently making a film titled Irandam Ulagam, with Arya and Anushka in the leading roles.

Trivikram goes for a youthful title

If you thought Honey was not massy enough, you should be relieved that Allu Arjun's forthcoming film now boasts of a good title.  Trivikram Srinivas seems to have arrived at a title that appropriately reflects the feel of his movie.  Julayi is the new title of Arjun-Illeana starrer.
The film is being produced by S Radhakrishna (Chinnababu) and presented by DVV Danaiah, without compromising on quality.  Danaiah said that Arjun will look different in the movie.  "As you all know,Trivikram's witty lines elicit whistles in theatres.  Then, we have Illeana and Devi Sri Prasad associated with the movie.   We are going to deliver a super hit."  Rajendra Prasad has an interesting role here.
Danaiah's previous film with Arjun was Desamuduru. Amol Rathod is the director of photography; Trivikram is writing the screenplay as well.
