Badrinath for censor certification soon


The final touches for the Allu Arjun starrer ‘Badrinath’ are going on at a brisk pace. The producer had decided to complete all the formalities at any cost to get the first copy ready by the end of the first week of June.

It was also decided to submit the first copy to censor board for certification as soon as possible as they had already announced the release date of the film as June 10.

For the first time, a Telugu film is being simultaneously released in Tamil and Malayalam languages to prove the strength of the Telugu cinema in the entire south India.

Directed by VV Vinayak, ‘Badrinath’ was produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts at a whopping budget of over 40 crores.

Keeravani gave tunes for the songs and the audio album had become one of the chart-busters in the music world.

The Allu Arjun-Tamanna starrer ‘Badrinath’ directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts is getting the final touches. The film is slated for release in the first half of June.

After the release of posters and teasers, the expectations on the film had further gone up and it has become one of the most talked films among the Telugu film lovers. ‘Badrinath’ had another first to its credit. This is the first Telugu film which is being released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages on the same day, i.e,, on June 10. Already Allu Arjun had a huge fan base in Kerala.

Let us wait and watch till the release of the film whether the film would reach the expectations and prove a big hit or not.

I am 'Mallu' Arjun: Bunny


Allu Arjun is one of the fewest non Mallu actors who has managed to bag a huge fan base in Malayalam. He is lovingly called Mallu Arjun in Kerala by his fans. Allu Arjun's Arya2, Varudu and other movies did great business in Malayalam too.Most of his Telugu films get dubbed into Malayalam and are released there.

Young Malayali audience who are craving for action cinema and a break from slow traditional and conventional Malayalam movies found respite in masala action of Allu Arjun. The audience there throng theatres that screen Allu Arjun's Malayalam dubbed films. Infact the dubbing rights of his movies in Malayalam run into crores of rupees which is unheard of in Malayalam film industry.

Talking to the media after his wedding recently Allu Arjun proudly announced that his Malayalam fans call him MALLU Arjun. He said if a good script comes his way, one day he might do a straight Malayalam film too

‘Badrinath’ release put off to May...



Allu Arjun’s latest film ‘Badrinath’, a semi-periodical film, had completed its shooting and the post-production formalities are in brisk progress.

Though the film unit had planned to release the film by the end of March, but it was put off to May due to the marriage and other programmes.

Directed by VV Vinayak, the film was produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts and he had spent almost Rs 35 crore to Rs 40 crore on this movie.

Chinni Krishna penned the script for the movie. The movie had already done good business across the state and also in oveseas.
